Ivy Women All-Stars Compete in Florida
Thirteen Ivy women were part of the Women’s National All-Star Competition Dec. 28-Jan. 3 at Tigertown in Lakeland, Fla.
Called “the best gathering of domestic women's rugby players ever" by Women's Eagles Head Coach Pete Steinberg, the competition includes eight competitive teams. The competition is a pathway to selection for Eagles strength and conditioning training and, potentially, participation on the women’s national team.

Dartmouth A and B side teams swept their respective brackets to secure a first and second place finish at the Ivy Men's 7s Tournament.
Last-Minute Try Puts Columbia on Top
In a nail-biter at Baker Field, Columbia scored with a minute left in the game to pull out a dramatic, one-point victory over Princeton. After trailing 25-12 at the half, Princeton roared back with three unanswered tries to take a 29-25 lead before the Lions dotted down in the corner to seal the win.
About the Game
Princeton played Columbia on the final weekend of regular season Ivy XVs competition. With the win, Columbia qualifies for the Ivy playoffs in the spring, finishing the season a point ahead of Yale.
Harvard Pulls Away for 24-12 Win Over Yale
After a slightly delayed KO due to some heavy Northeast traffic, the final match of the fall for either team saw Harvard face Yale in New Haven. A tightly-contested first half left the score 7-5 in the Crimson's favor at the break. Harvard pulled away in the second half with three tries. A final Yale try from Evan Brown near the end was not enough as the visitors walked off with a 24-12 victory.
About the Game
Yale plays Harvard at the Yale rugby pitch, this Friday, Nov. 20. The 1st XV kicks off at 6.45pm, while the Development XV kicks off at 8.15pm.
NCWVRA Quarterfinals: Brown vs AIC
AIC will advance in the semi-finals with a 27-19 victory over Brown. Brown put their hearts out on the pitch. Beautiful game.
Ivy 15s tournament runner-up Brown takes on AIC at the National Collegiate Women’s Varsity Rugby Association (NCWVRA) quarterfinals.
“… it will be particularly exciting to see the Bears' Saskia Morgan and the Yellow Jackets' Anne-Laurence Harvey do battle,” notes Goff Rugby Report's Alex Goff.

Dartmouth 7 - Norwich 14
Fresh off their Ivy Rugby 15s Championship, Dartmouth faced fellow varsity squad Norwich in the National Collegiate Women’s Varsity Rugby Association (NCWVRA) quarterfinals. Norwich won 14-7.

Eight members of the National Collegiate Women’s Varsity Rugby Association (NCWVRA) competing in the first-ever championship quarterfinals, hosted by Brown University.
The four victors will advance to the semifinals on Nov. 20 at Brown. Championship matches take place Sunday, Nov. 22.
Cornell Defeats Princeton 22-12
Cornell defeated Princeton by a score of 22-12. The Big Red spoiled Princeton's homecoming weekend scoring three consecutive trys to take a 17-5.

Dartmouth Defeats Harvard for Ivy Championship
This past weekend, the Dartmouth Rugby Club hosted Harvard in the Ivy Championship game. Both teams had been unbeaten in their Ivy rugby match ups, thus setting the stage for a big showdown between the two teams. Both teams fought bravely with Dartmouth ending up the victors, winning by a score of 51-19.
