Penn Season Highlights
Penn women started their spring season in early Feburary. Always eager to get more time and experience on the field, the ladies did not let a few snow storms stop their practices and their hard work and dedication paid off this season.

CUWRFC built on momentum gained in the fall and had a great spring season! We started off with an exciting win over Rutgers but were defeated in our following two games against Vassar and the New York Rugby Club's U19 team. Coaches and players worked together to identify the specific problems we were having and we worked hard in our final weeks of practice to not only fine-tune our skills, but also to come together as a cohesive team--forwards and backs--and find our collective passion for the game.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard athletic department has announced the hiring of Sue Parker as the first head coach for women's rugby, as the program will begin play in the 2013-14 academic year. Women's rugby will be the 21st varsity sport for women and 42nd varsity sport overall at Harvard making the university the nation's leader in both areas.
Brown Women Hosting 35th Anniversary Celebration
The Brown Women's Rugby Football Club was founded in the winter of 1976-1977 by two male players and an interested woman. The idea was formulated after the men had seen a women's 7s tournament in Baton Rouge, LA. After numerous meetings, practices were organized and a rugby film shown...some twenty women stayed throughout that first season.

At the end of this year's Yale Rugby alumni weekend, there was only one conclusion to be made: The men and women ruggers of the Bulldog tradition only grow better with age.
The current undergraduates were handed a thorough trouncing by the more than 100 alums who gathered to participate in the annual Yale Rugby alumni celebration on April 27, with alumni sides winning all three matches of the day.

Heartbreaking 45-38 loss to the UCF Knights in the USA Rugby D1-AA national semifinals ... plenty of heart from the boys, but we fell just short today.
Big Green Defeats St. Bonaventure in Regional Final
Following a victory over Pitt in the round of 16, Dartmouth Rugby took on St. Bonaventure on Sunday for the opportunity to represent the Northeast in the D1-AA Final 4. The Bonnies proved to be a tough opponent for the Big Green with their solid pack play and kicking game in the soggy conditions. But the Big Green hung tough and eventually came out on top, 30-22.
Scrum Dreams for Penn
Under the lights at Penn Park’s Dunning-Cohen Champions Field, on a chilly winter evening, two men are attempting to hoist another man into the air—before all three tumble to the turf. Then they laugh about it, get up, and try the same thing again.
