Great Day at the Women's CRC
Princeton had a tough draw against Army losing 24-5. Princeton then came out in round two and put it to Navy 21-5. In the third round Princeton went up three tries to one before losing a heart-breaker on the last play of the match 19-17. Brown did not look cohesive in their first two matches then came out of nowhere to pull off the upset of the day beating tournament favorite Penn State 12-10 in an epic battle. I spent the last match of the day next to Emil Signes as he calculated the point differential for the Army Navy final match of the day.

Hannah Valdez scored two tries and Morgan Authour scored a third. With the conversion by Rhode the match seemed in hand, but two late North Carolina tries gave the Tar Heals a 19-17 victory on the last play of the match.

Princeton 7s vs Navy
Angela Yue scored two tries in this Pool B second round CRC match to lead Princeton over Navy. Flyhalf and team leader Lauren Rhode kicked one conversion. Hui Ting Ang scored and convered the last try of the match making the final 21-5.

This last match of the day, televised live on Versus, saw the Big D pick apart the BC defense.
Dartmouth 7s vs Notre Dame
Dartmouth scored on the last play of the match to defeat Notre Dame.
Dartmouth 7s vs Utah
Dartmouth took the pitch in their first match of the CRC against defending champion Utah. After falling behind early, Dartmouth rallied back from a 0-12 deficit to defeat last year's defending champion 17-12. The win turned about to be a huge victory for the Big D.
