Dartmouth Rallies After Slow Start, Beats Stony Brook 42-12 to Advance to Final Four
Taking the field for the last time this season at the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse, Dartmouth Rugby gave their fans something they hadn’t seen all year: a comeback. Thanks to a slow start and some nice play from their opponents, The Big Green found themselves in a 12-0 hole within the first 10 minutes in their match Sunday against Stony Brook in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Emirates Airline USA Rugby Men’s Division I-AA National Championship.

Under the steady and inspiring leadership of scrum half Blair Station '12 and captains Chelsea Garber '12 and Mai Nguyen '12 Brown came out determined to push UVA off the ball and unleash a talented Brown line.
The first score came 10 minutes in when Chelsea Garber put a high up and under ball right behind the UVA line. Flanker Vanessa Munoz '13 hit the Virginia receiver hard and turned over the ball. The backline went to work and wing Patti Ekpo '15 put the ball way in the corner for the first score - Chelsea hit an impossible kick to put Brown up 7-0.

Cully’s Run is an annual 5K Trail Event organized by the Dartmouth WRC in memory of our teammate Katy Cullinan ’08. Participants race, run, or walk to raise awareness and funds for the National Eating Disorders Association.
In it’s first two years, Cully’s Run had over three hundred participants and raised around $10,000.00 for NEDA. The Trail Event takes place in early May, and starts and ends at the beautiful Corey Ford Ruby Clubhouse, following a scenic route around Storrs Pond.

Playing in front of one of its largest home crowds of the season, Dartmouth Rugby cruised past Shippensburg 75-5 on Saturday in the their Round of 16 match in the 2012 Emirates Airline USA Rugby Men’s Division I-AA National Championship. With the win The Big Green advance to today’s quarterfinal against Stony Brook, which will be played at 3 p.m., once again at the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse in Hanover.
