Ithaca, NY – Despite a rainy start to the match, Cornell and Princeton Women played a strong game of rugby, resulting in a non-division victory for Princeton, with a final score of 39-10 over Cornell.

Penn Scores a Close Home Victory Over Columbia 22-18

With both teams coming into the game undefeated in Ivy South play, the match between the University of Penn Quakers and the Columbia University Lions at Penn Park promised to be a great match, and neither team disappointed. In a scrappy contest, the home team held off a late Columbia rally for a 22-18 victory.

Dartmouth Slugs It Out with Harvard in Cambridge

After battling it out for 80 minutes, Dartmouth came out on top 31-21 on a beautiful fall day in Cambridge. The Big Green controlled the two teams’ first meeting in Hanover three weeks previous with a 60-0 victory, but the Crimson showed that they were much improved in an exciting match. On a day where Madison Hughes '15 tallied 17 points, it was still Harvard with their three consecutive second half tries that stole the story line.

Brown Women Topple Penn To Go 3-0 in Ivy Rugby

Brown beat a game but over matched Penn side 75-5 to go to 3-0 in the Ivy League. The final score of the match came with minutes left, first year Ebony McCaskill fought her way through the defense to score under the post and close out a dominant 75-5 win.

Brown Defeats a Tough Roger Williams Side

Moments after the Penn match, Brown took the field to play Roger Williams University. With wins over Penn and Roger Williams, Brown completed a long, yet successful, day of rugby.

Brown Defeats Yale at Home 35-14

Brown takes a a 25-0 lead into halftime, but Yale makes it a match in the second half. Brown wins 35-14.

The DWRC faced Yale on Saturday in the Big Green’s last home game of the season,
defeating the Bulldogs 34-10.

Columbia Grits Past Penn To Win 21-17

A day of gut wrenching rugby ends in a win for Columbia women.

CUWRFC left the pitch victorious after 80 minutes of play on Sunday. Penn proved to be a tough opponent, playing quickly and aggressively in the rucks and making several impressive runs. The score went back and forth throughout the game, but a last minute try by Naomi Sharp CC'15 left Columbia with the win.
