Brown Dominates Yale in Ivy Opener
New Haven, Connecticut -- Brown’s dominant scrum work set the stage for a strong performance on a sunny Saturday against Yale. The Bears scored 24 points in each half for a convincing 48-19 victory. The result was never in doubt as Brown, followed up each of Yale’s scores to battle back, with tries to extend its lead.
Brown and Yale Second and Thirds Square Off
After a tough 1st side contest Brown and Yale squared off for two more. The seconds ended in a 14 all tie, while Brown got the better of Yale in the third contest by a score of 12-0.
Penn Men's Rugby Featured in The Pennsylvania Gazette
In a recent issue of The Pennsylvania Gazette, the Penn Men's Rugby Club was featured in an article that detailed the club's recent success at the Collegiate Rugby Championship as well as their hopes for a successful showing at this coming year's event.

Women's Teams Ready for Fall 2013 Season
It's the beginning of the Fall 2013 season, and the Ivy Rugby Conference's Women's teams are locked and loaded for another exciting year.
There are many storylines that have begun to unfold, and we caught up with some representatives of the league to get their thoughts on this upcoming season.

Columbia suffers tough preseason loss to UConn in Mansfield, CT 24-7. After an organized start and some tough defensive stands in the first 60 minutes, UConn pulled away in the last quarter to out pace the Lions.
Columbia started strong showing resolve on defense keeping the score knotted at 0-0 in the early going before a dropped ball gave UConn a break and an early 7-0 lead on a converted try. After the Lions survived a scare in their own end, they held on down just 7-nil at the break.
Ivy Season Kicks Off
The Men's Ivy Norht kicks off this weekend with Harvard traveling to Dartmouth and Brown heading down to Yale. Dartmouth, of course, came out on top last fall, but not before a tough challenge by Brown. Dartmouth defated Brown in their second contest last fall after the teams faced off to a 23-23 tie in Providence.
Both Yale and Harvard are looking for better things in 2013 after working through rebuilding years.

Practice this fall will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights from 8:00pm to 10:30pm at Baker Field. Shuttles to Baker Field will leave at 7:20pm and 7:40pm from 117 and Amsterdam Avenue.

Columbia Falls to Albany, 37-25
On Saturday, September 7th, Columbia Rugby took on the University of Albany in its first game of the Fall 2013 Season on a beautiful day at Baker Field.
