Harvard Captain Xanni Brown was Interviewed for the Crimson Article.

The future of the Men's and Women's Rugby Clubs was given an in-depth look in the most recent issue of the Harvard Crimson. In an article written by Crimson Staff Writer Emily T. Wang, members of each club discussed their teams' futures as well as how their teammates have helped progress rugby at Harvard to its' current point.

Wang discusses the Women's club's promotion to being a varsity sport at Harvard, a promotion that the club feels will help them compete at an even higher level than before. Women's captain Xanni Brown discussed the move with the article's author. "We believed that the support that being a Harvard [varsity] athletic team gets you can help us play at a level previously not accessible to us," said Brown.

Men's team president Cody Kiechle was optimistic about his club's future and discussed his team's recruiting practices with pride. "We actually have a position on [our] board dealing specifically with recruiting," Kiechle said. "We go to the activities fairs, hand out fliers... and we have no cuts. So if you want to play rugby, you can play rugby."
