Brown 69 v. Harvard University 5 – Second XV

The Brown Second XV obviously took a cue from the Firsts with a dominant win over the Harvard Seconds.
Six first half tries (two converted) in 30 minutes was followed by five second half tries (all converted). Up to this point in the season, our seconds have been shortchanged with short matches, 10 a side matches or no matches at all. Harvard put out a full second side and the Bears took full advantage of the opportunity. The forwards were successful in producing good scrum and lineout ball, with prop Sam McGoldrick making big gains off the rucks, and prop Allen Green with two tries. The backs with Dylan Brady, Elliot Winoker, Justin Vandervelden, Campbell O’Conor, and Duncan Grant leading the way, accounted for 47 of Brown’s points. 

The Brown Seconds finish their fall 2019 season with but one loss.
