2018 Americas Rugby Championship Schedule & Roster
The USA Eagles rugby team will defend their their title at the 2018 Americas Rugby Championship with three consecutive home matches in California, starting February 3. All five USA Eagles matches will be streamed exclusively live on The Rugby Channel in the United States.
In addition, under the ARC's programming agreement with ESPN, the USA matches will air on a delayed basis on the ESPN family of linear cable networks in the United States. The ESPN telecast schedule is as follows:
- Sunday, 2/4 at 7am ET on ESPNews: USA vs. Argentina
- Sunday, 2/11 at 7am ET on ESPN2: USA vs. Canada
- Sunday, 2/18 at 7am ET on ESPN2: USA vs. Chile
- Sunday, 2/25 at 7am ET on ESPN2: Brazil vs. USA
- Sunday, 3/4 at 5am ET on ESPN2: Uruguay vs. USA (this will lead into a tape-delayed airing of the previous day’s USA 7s at 7am ET)

Men's Eagles Announce Roster for 2018 Americas Rugby Championship
New Head Coach Gary Gold announced a traveling roster which includes 18 returning players from the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship (ARC).
The 39-man squad for the upcoming 5-match tournament showcases the very best players from the past season. The line-up includes Fullback Mike Te'o, Scrumhalf Shaun Davies, Wing Ryan Matyas, and Captain Blaine Scully.
Mike Te'o makes his 2018 debut having started all 11 games last season, accounting for a total of 25 points including a hat trick he earned against Canada during the 2017 ARC. Shaun Davies joins Te'o, owning 23 points in his 9 starts from last year, helping his squad to a well earned 42-17 victory over Germany with his two tries this past November. Ryan Matyas rounds out the scoring bunch with his 15 total points in 7 starts, adding to the dynamic threat the growing squad will make against the upcoming competition.
Blaine Scully picks up as Captain from the November tests as Head Coach Gary Gold and the Men's Eagles attempt to make another undefeated run in the 2018 Americas Rugby Championship.
