Dartmouth Women take Third

The Dartmouth Women Rugby Club faced off against Harvard on Sunday at Brown's Marvel Field. The match is for 3rd place in the Ivy Rugby Conference.

Dartmouth defeated Harvard 20-12 in a contentious second match of the Ivy League Final Four Tournament. Two great runs by Diana Wise started the scoring for Dartmouth as they took a 10-nil lead. Harvard's fly, Xanni, gets one back to make the score 10-5. Then Dartmouth's Yeja scores the Big Green's third try of the match off a pass from Brouck. Harvard's #11, Nebs, makes a huge break and scores their second try just before the half. The successful kick by Harvard makes the score 15-12.

Harvard's tenacity challenged Dartmouth and the Big Green found itself flagging in the middle of the match. However, Dartmouth maintained a good defense and showcased strong scrums to come out on top after an aggressive 80 minutes.
