Yale made the trek to Bermuda to participate in the 2016 Ariel Re Bermuda 7s. Watch the video.

Enjoying the sun, surf and military-style training course on the island paradise, Yale would make a strong showing at the Bermuda 7s, going 2-1 on Friday including a 19-7 win over Dartmouth's Seconds and a 26-14 win over the Boston Collegians. On Saturday, the Collegians would wreak revenge by knocking the Bulldogs out of Plate contention with a 12-21 win. 

Event co-organizer, FOX news financial analyst and former professional wrester John Layfield talked to the boys about the importance of youth rugby and the excitement for locals surrounding the Ariel Re Bermuda 7s. 

The Yale second side held St. Joe’s first side to 2 tries in a 7-12 loss on Friday, and tested themselves again against the Hawks on Saturday, falling 7-19 in round robin play. Earlier on Saturday, they kept Norwich close in a hard-fought 12-20 contest.
