Weekend Preview - 10/17/13

Men's Division
Cornell @ Columbia - 10/19/13, 7:00pm
The Cornell Men's Rugby Team has been on fire this season. After a convincing 44-19 win over Princeton this past week, the Big Red have given themselves a comfortable cushion at the top of the South Division standings with their 4-0 record. With a tough Penn team only five points behind them on the leaderboard, Cornell will look to stay on top as they travel to New York to take on 1-3 Columbia.
Harvard @ Yale - 10/19/13, 1:00pm
To say that the Yale Men's Rugby Team has had a rough Fall season would be an understatement. The Bulldogs enter this Saturday's match with an 0-5 record and 0 points in the standings. Harvard is coming to New Haven with a 3-2 record and is hoping to replicate the success they had against Brown last week.
Penn @ Princeton - 10/19/13, 1:00pm
While Cornell has gotten a majority of the attention in the Ivy Rugby Conference's South Division, the Penn Men's team has quietly put together an impressive season of their own, bringing a 4-1 record into Princeton with them this week for their game against the 0-4 Tigers.
Dartmouth @ Brown - 10/19/13, 11:00am
Dartmouth's Men's Rugby team has had about as good of a season as coach Gavin Hickie could have hoped for coming into this year. With a 5-0 record and 25 out of a possible 25 points, it's safe to say that Dartmouth has officially earned the title of the Ivy Rugby Conference's "Team to Beat."
Women's Division
Columbia @ Penn - 10/20/13, 2:00pm
The Penn Women's Rugby Team is set to host Columbia in a match that will decide second place in the Ivy Rugby Conference's White division. Both teams have identical 1-1 records and have each earned 5 points in league play.
Dartmouth @ Yale - 10/20/13, 11:00am
n a rare cross-division match, the 3-0 Dartmouth Women's Rugby Club will travel to New Haven to take on 0-3 Yale. Dartmouth is looking to continue their unbeaten Fall 2013 season where they have racked up 13 points in divisional play. Yale has been struggling as of late with 0 points on the year and are coming off a difficult 44-5 loss at the hands of Cornell.
Cornell @ Brown - 10/19/13, 2:00pm
The Cornell Women's Rugby Club will travel to Providence this weekend to take on cross-divisional opponent Brown. Cornell has been a formidable opponent this season in the Ivy Rugby Conference's White Division and are coming off of an impressive 44-5 win over Yale which set their record at 3-0. While Brown's record sits at 1-2, they've proven to be a difficult opponent in all of their matches this year.
Princeton @ Harvard - 10/19/13, 11:00am
After an impressive and shocking 57-7 win over Brown on October 5, the Harvard Women's team was able to enjoy a week off last week. They're back in action this Saturday at home where they will host a Princeton team that's coming off of a close loss to Columbia this past week.
