Spring 1984 Penn Men
Penn Men Spring tour to Freeport, Bahamas. Yale also went on the Freeport tour. There are 2 or 3 Yale ruggers in background of photo. The U of Virginia and Lehigh ruggers rounded out the college group of four teams in Freeport in spring of 1984.

Ivy League -- via Skorton group -- adopts rules to cut football concussions
The Ivy League presidents have accepted a series of recommendations made by a special ad hoc committee -- co-chaired by Cornell President David J. Skorton, a medical doctor -- with the goal of lowering the incidence of concussion and subconcussive hits in football.

After a few weeks for the ‘13s to settle into their sophomore summer term, Dartmouth Rugby’s Summer 7s side took the field for the first time in the Men’s Open Division of the New Haven 7s Tournament in Cheshire, Connecticut, on July 16th. While the team was not able to win the whole thing, they did walk away with the plate championship, and, more importantly, all 15 players were able to get some well-earned playing time to help develop their skills for the 2011-2012 Ivy Rugby season.
