USA Rugby Committee Adopts New Non-Verbal Scrum Engagement Procedure
BOULDER, Colo., February 27, 2014 – The USA Rugby Rugby Committee voted to adopt the IRB’s newest revision to the ongoing scrum engagement global trial: non-verbal communication to indicate to the scrumhalf when the ball can be placed into the scrum.
Dartmouth Dropped by Navy
Dartmouth traveled to New York City on Saturday to take on the Midshipmen of Navy for a much needed preseason tune-up. The Big Green were able to get nine first-year players into the match as they chased a physical and fit Navy outfit to the tune of 5 to 65.
The lone Big Green try came from freshman Dawit Workie '17 halfway through the first half on an impressive line break set up by senior Kevin Clark ’14.

Wang, members of each club discussed their teams' futures as well as how their teammates have helped progress rugby at Harvard to its' current point.

The article, written by Nicholas Gutowski, mostly discusses the origins of football in the United States. A good portion of the article discusses the sport's roots in America, including how rugby originated as a cousin and alternative to a primitive version of football in the 1800s.
