Brown University Men's Rugby heading to Las Vegas

The Brown Rugby 7s team will travel to Las Vegas next week to play in the Las Vegas Invitational, February 9th through February 12th. After pool play, there will be playoffs based on each team’s results. All of the matches are at Sam Boyd Stadium in East Las Vegas.

Dates and times of Brown’s pool matches:

Thursday, February 9 Matches

10:00am Brown vs. Stoneybrook University
  1:00pm Brown vs UCLA

Friday, February 10 Matches

10:20am Brown vs. Longwood University

The team is coached by head coach Dave Laflamme and 7s coach John McGeachy.

The winner of this prestigious tournament will earn the final spot in the 16 team tournament to be held outside of Philadelphia at PPL Park on June 2nd and 3rd. Much of the tournament will be broadcast live on NBC and NBC affiliate stations.
