Brown Bears Win First Ivy 7s Championships

The Brown Bears made history yesterday, winning the First Ivy League 7's Tournament on Sunday, hosted by Columbia University, beating Penn, Columbia "B" and Dartmouth in pool play and then defeating Columbia (winner of the other pool) in the final.

A lackluster performance against Bentley College at home on Saturday saw Brown lose the first XV match and tie the second XV match.

Brown now takes a week off and picks up play against the University of Rhode Island on April 24. The match will be played at URI with a kickoff time of 1 P.M. This will be the last 15's match of the spring season.
