2010 Ivy League Rugby Championship Series Fall Schedule
The eight Ivy League schools: BROWN • COLUMBIA • CORNELL • DARTMOUTH • HARVARD • PENN • PRINCETON • YALE take the pitch again as the second full season of competition begins on September 25th.

50 Years of Brown Rugby: 1960-2010
January, 2010 will kick off a year-long celebration of 50 Years of Brown Rugby success. Although plans are still being formulated, here are a few of the events we are anticipating.
March 20-27, 2010: Spring Break in Bermuda This tour will be open to all alumni, parents and friends and a dinner at the end of the week will highlight the festivities.
Brown Rugby 50th Anniversary Commencement 2010 Alumni Match
In what was likely the largest group of undergrads and alumni to attend and/or participate in our annual undergrads vs. alumni Commencement Rugby match, the term “it’s not about the rugby” was never more appropriate. The Reunion classes showed up in force with the Class of 1985 (25th reunion) leading the way.
Results - Sunday Finals Collegiate Championship
The single elimination quarterfinal matches are now completed. Both Harvard and Dartmouth lost their 1/4 final matches. Congratulations to both Ivy teams for the strong showing. Indiana: 12 Harvard: 0. San Diego State: 17 Dartmouth: 7.

The single elimination quarterfinal matches will be played between 10am and 2pm. From 2-4pm, Universal will broadcast the semifinals live. NBC will cover the final matches in the 4pm-6pm time slots. Harvard plays at 10:30 versus Indiana. Dartmouth's match kicks off at 12:30 against San Diego State.

Harvard and Dartmouth played in the same Pool A with Notre Dame and CAL. Dartmouth came out of the bracket 2-1, while Harvard lost all three of their opening matches. It all starts over today as Dartmouth moves on to the top eight and Harvard to the bottom eight of today's single elimination tournament culminating with nationally televised finals on NBC this evening.

Check out this cool NBC produced video with interviews and highlights of some of our present rugby 7s heroes as they describe what its like to play rugby 7s against the best players of the world. They didn't have this kind of stuff way back when Dartmouth's Alex Magleby was captaining the US team.
Harvard University RFC 7s Lineup - Collegiate Championships
Harvard's 7s lineup has been presented for the inaugural Rugby 7s Collegiate Championship this Saturday and Sunday. The matches will be broadcast live from Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. NBC Sports will provide live coverage from 4-6 p.m ET both days. Universal Sports will provide extended coverage Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. ET.

Harvard will play Notre Dame live at 3:00pm Saturday on Universal Sports

Dartmouth's 7s lineup has been presented by coach Alex Magelby for the inaugural Rugby 7s Collegiate Championship this Saturday and Sunday. Dartmouth starts thing off this evening with a match against Notre Dame.

After a tough opening round loss last evening to recent 15s National Champion CAL, Harvard is looking to bounce back against Dartmouth. Dartmouth was able to pull out a first round victory against Notre Dame. Harvard finished second in the Ivies last fall to Dartmouth.
