Princeton Women vs Pittsburg

Pittsburgh had upset UVA in the first game of the weekend with strong forward play.  Early in the game we were pretty even and both of us threatened several times without scoring. We gradually took over from Pitt’s pack, however, and finally a last-second first half drop goal by Lauren Rhode ’12 (as a grad student, Lauren is in her 5^th year of eligibility) broke the scoring ice. We took over as the second half progressed and at the end we were in complete control. Pitt is a good team.
