Harvard Women 2nd XV 15 - Brown 7

The Brown B's got their first official Ivy match under their belts playing a Harvard side that included a number of players from Harvard's first side. Browns defense was inspiring as the 'rookies' flew around the field bringing down one Harvard jersey after another. The Harvard fullback escaped a few too many times but the young Brown team showed moments of great teamwork.

The B's were rewarded for their tenacity when wing Patti Epko '15 took a ball wide and outran her defender, as the Harvard fullback tackled her high Patti shrugged off the tackle, churning through to score under the posts, fullback Erica Florenz '13 converted and the match ended 15-7.
